Sod Installation

Sod is grass grown on a farm and delivered in strips that are laid like carpet. It gives an immediate green lawn, controls erosion and leaves no room for weeds if laid on well-prepared soil. The preparation decides the result: grading, tilling, a starter fertilizer and tight seams. Watering in the first two weeks is the most important job after installation.

We install sod across Middle Tennessee, from yards in Nashville to large new properties. We prepare and grade the soil, lay fresh-cut sod in tight, staggered rows, roll it for contact and give you a simple watering schedule. Tall fescue, zoysia and bermuda sod are available.
